Every Saturday morning, I enjoy a large cup of coffee, get myself settled, and listen to varies podcasts.  One podcast that I have become addicted to is Geek Out Loud, hosted by Steve Glosson and Derek Russell. Their motto; “Your Safe Place To Geek Out!” which I think sums up the show nicely.

Topics on Geek Out Loud range from Superman to Star Wars and include deep discussions on the Muppets. However, Star Trek is rarely mentioned due to Steve’s devotion to Star Wars.  All things “geek” are discussed on this podcast by two knowledgeable hosts, Steve Glosson and Derek Russell.  They are both extremely funny, and many times I am laughing so hard that I can’t even drink my coffee. It is nice to listen to two friends discuss their favorite topics. They both play off each other nicely.

I first heard Steve Glosson on The Force Cast, and felt that he brought a wonderful since of humor to The Clone Wars Round Table. When I heard he had another podcast, I quickly Googled it and came across their website  http://geekoutpodcast.com/  My favorite episode is Episode 59: Mayonnaise. RUN!!!, which aired on February 14, 2012.  It starts out talking about well you know, mayonnaise. I also enjoyed the many snippets discussed during this episode. This is one awesome podcast for all Geeks! Both Steve and Derek do an amazing job. My only gripe is a wish that they did an episode a week. Please, click the link and give Geek Out Loud a try. It’s well worth it!
